We decided to do Glory's Hips and Elbows through the British Veterinary Association. The biggest reasoning for doing this - is so we can compare what scores she got - with her siblings and parents. Her score of 10 is equal to that of an OFA good or excellent. Elbow score of 0/0 is normal through OFA. Below you will find the actual forms of these tests - so you can view for yourself her actual x-rays and hip/elbow results!!
On the BVA scoring information it states that dogs should only be bred that have a score below the Breed Mean Score (BMS). The Breed Mean Score for Golden Retrievers is 19 and Glory got a 10.
