Thunder is a beautifully marked Shire horse Gelding. If you are not
sure what a Shire is - they are similar to a Clydesdale and even some
of the supposed Clydesdales are actually Shires. Shires usually are
black where Clydesdales usually are bay. He is a perfectly marked
Shire - with four whites and a blaze. And he is a horse with a Golden
Temperament. Easy going, laid back and mellow. Such a loving
fellow - we are smitten with him.
He comes from Jenson's Shires right here in Nebraska. His dad was 19.1
hands tall - very big, and produced the world's largest horse in the genius
book of records currently. He will have large feet (close to the size
of a dinner plate) with beautiful long flowing white hair on his feet.
Shires are referred to as the gentle giants - and Thunder is sure living up
to his name even though he is yet small.
